PLANET ANT THEATER
The Planet Ant Theater is a community institution that has launched the careers of comedy stars like Keegan Michael Key and Sam Richardson. It also resides in a pair of buildings that need a lot of work. Like $70K worth of work.
Through a grant program, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation offered to pay for half the repairs if Planet Ant could raise $35K in six weeks. This package of social posts, posters and print ads drove awareness and donations to ensure the next generation of Detroit talent can hone their skills with a working roof overhead.
